Maximum units for summer and semester? 12 units summer and 26 semester?

Hello, I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I thought the transfer students section might be a good choice. I’m a University of Southern California student that used to go to Saddleback Community College where I earned a 4.0 in about 30 units before my successful transfer, but I didn’t have a pleasurable time at USC, so I’ve decided to transfer to the American University of Paris. I was accepted for the fall 2018 class, but I’m deferring a semester, because my parents don’t feel I’m ready to live in another country yet. They want me to learn more life skills before I go to help manage my bipolar I disorder. So until I leave, I’m staying summer semester, and potentially fall and spring semester back at Saddleback. I received a 4.0 at Saddleback and a 3.7 at USC, and I’m wondering what is considered the maximum number of limits one is advised to take per semester in community college. I maintained a 3.7 at USC despite mania, psychosis, and suicidal depression that is now under control, so I think that my performance will be even better now that we’ve diagnosed me, and I’m medicated. I’m royally bored in the suburbs, and all the classes I’ll be taking will be humanities and social sciences that play to my strengths, and which I find easy. I’m testing the waters with 12-15 units this summer… Introduction to Korean Culture, Introduction to Arabic Culture, Aesthetics of Film, Introduction to International Cinema… And possibly a course that is Introduction to Theatre, a study of exemplary plays, if you all think 15 units is fine… And then what is the limit for a semester? At AUP I plan to major in PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics), and Comparative Literature, but since I’ll be in Paris, I also wanted to take lots of Art History courses, so I wanted to take courses in these disciplines. Would 26 units be too much? I have to take French also to fulfill the language requirement. Basically, I’m just taking these courses for fun, so they won’t be especially difficult like mathematics or science courses, so is the sky basically the limit for how many units I can take… Anything under 30? I’m highly motivated, diligent, and bright.
