MAY 2005 SAT TEST – FORM ONE (verbal experimental)

This forum is for the discussion of test with the verbal experimental. Also from data gathered it was the test with the prime number question for the last grid in. Also it had a critical reading about Congo and “Star Wars” < — short passage.

have fun. discuss

What do you have as anwers with the photo by text of Congo???

i put that i didn’t discuss his longstanding opinions about Africa or something. so wait, this section doesn’t count in our score?

no no, there is no definate about which verbal was experimental. Its just that this test had a experimental section as verbal.

the last grid in was 101.

n = p^2 - 100p
*both n and p must be prime.

what is n = ?

anyone get the block question when the perimeter on the last math section. it was like the perimeter of the each square block is 1 and what step is the perimeter of the whole FIGURE = 92 if they keep adding one block on the bottom and top for each step.

i got A for that one, A) 43.

wait, i remember a passage abt congo, but i dont remember any picture with it…

any guesses on which verbal was experimental…if it was congo I’m screwed. Any chances it was the first reading section about the girl, MARYA and her new group of friends

also bowlderized was the answer for one of the sen. completions

square and circle

the area is 40 pi

also that one question about which of the following dispproves this statement…Any number that is something to 8 is also something to 12. idk something liek that.

anyone clarify?

what was the answer to the question asking which line segment was the closet to the center?

20.5 I think. The longest one.

whew, lol i though that was the answer, but my brain was fried

The other question said which number is not divisible by both 12 and 8. The answer was 8

How about the questoin that had the ratio of C:F:M. and C was CFM or something?

oh man I think i got that one wrong, I did the greatest side but idk still figuring out exactly why. I just had a feeling at the time.

but anyway, the one with 12 and 8, the question was “not divisible by both 12 and 8”???

ah man, I think I read it wrong, because it just didn’t make sense the way I read it. if it was THAT EASY…man I can’t belive I omitted that. AHHH. oh well next text…I was paying more attention to getting a good score on writing this time. VERBAL and MATH…hopefully JUNE will be better. VOCAB was so much more harder than the ones in CB book.

um, can anyone confirm this?

merudh123 anyone get the block question when the perimeter on the last math section. it was like the perimeter of the each square block is 1 and what step is the perimeter of the whole FIGURE = 92 if they keep adding one block on the bottom and top for each step.

h4zin i got A for that one, A) 43.

And, what does this person mean by “photo text”?

trinya What do you have as anwers with the photo by text of Congo???

meruh: That makes no sense. As it gets closer to the center, the secant approaches the diameter, which is the largest kind of secant.

yes its A the pattern is just adding two each one

the figure number was 43 (?)
