in responce to the FLIP for 6/7 on my post…that was my fault. I had the one you guys posted. my bad.

RE: test format

Essay: opinions of others

CR (9 s.c. + Marya and Imogene, Short star wars and holograms)

Math multiple choice -easiest math section

CR - duck/rabbit

CR - star wars (more passages, only 5 or 6 s.c.)

Math+Grids(prime number, gallons, angles, the question with the joke)

Writing (Few “no errors”, plenty “D”'s on improving sentences)

CR - Congo

Math (mult. choice - had the m:k:f ratio problem)

Writing - improving sentences

Also, there were shorter passages about environmental issues, computers and books, the book Gorky Park and others but i don’t remember what section they were in.

What if I order SAS now, when do I receive it then??

I had the EXACT same test as victor…including the essay prompt.

for some reason…i still think “humorous and crude” is a better answer than “clever and judgmental”, i dont know, it just seems as if just becuz they can imitate others doesnt mean they are clever. on the other hand, it seems like a crude way of joking around…

anyways, did anyone get “vituperative” for one of the last SC questions (cant remember which section)…
oh and also, did you guys put “scathing” or “annoying”…for the book review of that environmental short passages…

(i had the same exact test as victor too…)

btw…what was the answer for the CR question about “what was the regrettable result of the (some artistic revolution…)” ?

my answer was that they then overlooked a psychological and artistic element

But I am very bad in CR, so I think its wrong

i agree with you smurf…i didnt think they were judgemental at all (of her)

Does anyone remember what they put for that one grammar question, where it says “the character in alice walker’s the colour purple had to adapt to difficult circumstances, but managed to overcome them”? I put “overcome them” as the error (ambiguity?) but now im starting to think its no error…

pft. I think I got that none, one, two, three question from the math thing wrong. I thought 0 was a positive integer. what was I on? ■■■■■.

how many raw pts u think u need for a 580 on each section

the answer was none… Am I right???3

@wanted.exe

zipcode -
the answers was no error. there is no ambiguity because there is no other possible plural antecedent for “them” besides “circumstances”

Can we try to compile the grid ins?

Yeah for the writing question i put no error on that one (my only no error on the error id i believe).

Smurf… i think the “vituperative” option came under the question about the books with risque material. The answer for that one was actually bowdlerize - to censor.

For the author’s tone in that first sentence I put “scathing” … he was beyond annoyance in my opinion.

I agree with y’all on the humorous but crude answer. However now that people have mentioned it, something tells me that “clever but judgmental” is the better answer.

hm…ok…i must be mixing up the SCs then…
cuz i remember that i got the one w/ “bowdlerize”…
but i know i missed two, one with choices “enticing” and “callow”…and etc…i picked “callow”…which i know is wrong…but i cant remember what the right answer was…something about being disparaging…
and the other one was the basically the opposite of petulant…
i had no idea wth petulant was…so just had to omit that…![]()
there were no clues besides just being the antonym…so couldnt even guess…grr
but i think i nailed the CR…cept the two we’re not sure of…(the humorous but crude one, and the regrettable result one)…

i totally agree with L of son, it was exactly what i put… agree with y’all on the humorous but crude answer. However now that people have mentioned it, something tells me that “clever but judgmental” is the better answer-----even this too

i was hoping for a 2300+…but i’ll need a very nice curve from math to get there…cuz i omitted 4 questions…and as far as know, 0 wrong so far(hopefully, it’ll stay zero)…
of the 4…i couldv easily gotten 3 of them…but i was so burnt out by the end…i sorta gave up…my brain was just too fried…5 hrs is too long.

i think i wrote off topic of the essay
i wrote it as of tje qistopm : do ppl depend on work to interct?
but my friend told me the topic is do ppl depned on interacting for work??

…

nah. you were right, mayflower.
