MAY 2005 SAT TEST – FORM ONE (verbal experimental)

yeah, but that’s not projectile motion =)

for the coffeehouse question, it said that she “steeled herself” because she doesnt want to be the butt of one of their humourous impersonations…not because she was afraid to be judged…i dunno, thats why i didnt go with “judgemental”

yeah feared rejection, got that one.

damn, looks like i got one grid-in wrong, 2 grid-ins omitted, and 1 mc omitted…can anyone predict a math score for that? damn, im gonna have to retake this.

and another thing…i did the essay in pen. think they’ll hold that against me at all?

for the rope and knot question, do you remember what equation you guys got?

I am just very disappointed, I have make lot of stupid mistakes

what was the tank question about?

h4zin I don’t think you’re allowed- but maybe they might let it past, it’s not like the computer won’t read it.

anyways. I’m so screwed for verbal and writing. ugghh. kill me now

h4zin: yes, on the admission ticket it was stated that it had to be in pencil. It might be considered a sign to the reader/s.

I wanted to add to my essay and added an (*) at some point and continued after the essay. does this count as sign also?

i remember reading an article about the march test that said some people wrote the essay in pen, so it couldnt be scanned in. they just graded it right off the paper though. i think it will be fine

it was 24 cm tall and could hold like 15 g
and the something else u had to set up a proportion to get the answer.

My proctor said if you did it in pen, they dont even look at it

yeah, i know (not pm) but i didnt know what to call it…
i really like pm in physics though = )

honeyhazel02 can we discuss the africa (congo) passage a bit more? What was the purpose of the father sharing his memories with the kids?

um was that evn a question?

for one of the questions in that passage i said that the author pointed out how his father would give different stories depending in his mood or something…dont remember.

Damn, what remains of your handwriting when it is scanned? My ugly handwriting will become even more jagged.

oh okay, right.

My proctor says pen can’t scan. but i don’t think they would be SO heartless as to not read it at all.

Omitted grid-ins?
They don’t deduct points for wrong grid-ins, right?

right they dont

Yeah, thats the one I was talking about. so it wasn’t “the conditions the father had had to endure”?

just for the fun of it- what were your examples? mine were 1984 by George Orwell, my volunteering experience, and religious intolerance. ■■■■■

Yeah, I don’t think it was “conditions he had to endure.”
