yeah, that was a really stupid question. i put 1.73 to be funny

i TOTALLY agree with victor. its ridiculous. even Princeton Review’s 11 New SATs says that they only incorporated the writing section for financial gain. capitalist bastards. this kind of stuff ****es me off.

I got the people looked remote
and that belgian colonialism is something that he rarely talked about.
and h4zin, just… uhh. write fast. actually, I just practiced using same examples over different questions- and I was lucky enough to get questions that fit in with my example.

h4, my intro was 3 sentences. each of my body paragraphs was 4-5, and my conclusion was 1, long sentence. i have pretty small handwriting, and it kept getting less legible as the essay went on. The BP might’ve been on the skimpier side, but hey, its a 25 minute essay.

Right, test prep industry! thicker, more expensive books. longer, more expensive courses. Kaplan, PR, Barrons, even Collegeboard published a thicker practice book.

yes indeed and well for my essay I used three solid examples…

immigrants in industrial age (early 1900s - related it to The Jungle by Upton Sinclair), World War II (women taking over male roles in society - particularly jobs), and Fast Food enterprises (how they motivate teens to work in our current society etc.)

Ah, yes… By the way the essay gives a chance to people who do nothing but reading to show off some of that. I doubt that the essay indicates to colleges the efficiency of one’s writing. The entire SAT is a wicked, corrupt thing.

my examples sucked, because they were all completely maked up

what did u put for to shape?

I think grammar was corrupted. or maybe my brain. either one. go figure.

hopefully you maked up for your sucky examples with awesome grammar trinya

man if everyone was smart we would boycott all this **** and just be like we arent takin the SATs, what now? if we all band together we could make this whole “universities dont need you, YOU need the university” ******** a myth. but you know theres gona be harvard-horny scabs–who will suck teachers’, principles’, and deans’ dicks to the Ivy League if they have to–to bring down anything like that.

all right, theres my rant, back to SAT questions hehe

I read that NYT article, too, and I got the question about work.
Does anyone else feel like his/her essay was really short? How short was it? I’m a really concise writer, and I have such a hard time with dragging things out.

for the “to shape question” i think i put mold…was that even an answer choice?

Speaking of dragging things out!
What did you all pick for “drag?”
I think I said the thing about the lawyers and the bill.

^ I put mold as well.

i also put “to mold”

no, dragged em out like the girlfriend dragged the boyfriend to the mall

i said some chick dragging a guy shopping with her or something

^I put the drag one.

I laughed at that one.

I chose that instead of the horse one. although the horse one was tempting (if the horse answer was right- shoot me)
