MAY 2005 SAT TEST – FORM THREE (writing experimental)

I’m very sure that it was referring to the cat, who was most definitely a companion.

was companion the same thing as independent… does anyone remember the wording of the answer choice?

ok, so i had the first form listed at CB, regular, Saturday

The passage implies/infers(?) that Shawn (who is the boy’s “orange barn cat”) is:

independent
companionable
mischevious
aggressive

…one more that i cant remember

oh **** that will be 3rd one that i got wrong purely by reading wrong a problem/question

i know… i was oblivious to the fact that they could be referring to the cat. why didn’t they just say the cat instead of shawn. that was the stupidest trick question iv ever seen.

i dont get it
there’s no mention of a boy anywhere in the reading
why would you think shawn is a boy?

yo, there was an extremely easy math question which showed a chart of the amount of hours of work i guy did each day of the week and then asked teh total amount of work in hours he did for that week, but it seemed wayyy to easy, anyone remember what the answer was

35-36 hours(?) not sure, but i’m pretty sure i did not add incorrectly

Hey guys. I just checked collegeboard and it turns out section 3 was the experimental section.

for the cat one… maybe i’m thinking of a different problem??

confidential—if that’s so, that means the bligh passage is being counted, right?

Maybe the segment on mars and venus isn’t… hard to remember this stuff…

no. remember we are writing experimental. therefore it was the first writing section. i can’t remember which writing section was harder.

section 3 was the second math section with the juan problem gridin

section 2 was first math section

I would love it, love it if that were the expiremental

you probably had the version of the test where 4 was experimental; i also had the juan question.

<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;
Mine looked like the first one on there.

 1. Essay
 2. Math
 3. Equating (the one that doesn’t count toward your score)
 4. Reading
 5. Writing
 6. Math (includes SPR questions)
 7. Reading (includes 2 long passages)
 8. Reading
 9. Math
 10. Writing

That’s exactly what mine looks like
actually, now that i think about it was section 6 that was the juan question right

maybe section 3 had that crazy question with the circle and 5Pi or whatever

what questions did section 5 (the writing that counted) have?

5 is the one with the castle thing at the end i believe.

so give us examples and questions that were on the omitted section

i think it was the one where the first answer was 4*7 = 28 and one of the questions gave you a cirlce and said some sides add up to 5Pi, find all the rest
