MAY 2005 SAT TEST – FORM THREE (writing experimental)

can someone compile all the math answers?

was the infamous “toward” question in section 5?

yea i believe it was. for me it was a writing experimental section. it might have been different for others

wow what theyu did with the cat one…low…so all the problems i kno ive missed so far ive missed due to misreading the problem/question

was there a writing experimental section? I only see the two tests they listed, which implies only 2 experimentals math grid in, and the reading of ducks.

so what’s the consensus on the cat problem

It’s companion

Woowoo, rock on, that’s what i answered…

Man… not to overdo it or anything–but i really wanna know which questions were in 5 and which were in 3. the one thing i remember though, is that the later writing sections (i thought) were more difficult. But that could also be attributed to the long testing.

Even though the title of this form is writing experimental im not exactly sure how accurate that is. I think this is just a different form and people had an experimental section on section 3. some people have been suggesting they had this form but had a second math grid-in for section 3 and maybe then this is the case.

For the people who are sure they had 3 writing sections(2 25-min, 1 10 min), do you remember the castle story at the end? Where you have to answer like 5 questions on a short essay. I think that was section 5.

Everybody had an experimental for section 3 or 4. For some this was CR, some this was Math, and some this was Writing. This is the thread for the writing one.

And yeah, I remember that castle story. Don’t remember for sure which section it was in.

Thats really weird. I had a gird in math in section 3, so that was my experimental (i had 2 grid ins overall), however I have every passage mentioned in this thread. So to help you guys out everything I had, non-math counted. This includes:
CR:Cat, venus-mars-life, bligh, blues, Teacher,
Writing: waft from the pages, towards politician,

Oh another question on blues, what did his notebook/tape recorder repersent. The sentence talked about how,
the myriad of boxes that surround him have come to represent his notebook and tape recorderd. And these boxes were metaphorical for perceptions (i forget). At first i picked his reference to the notebook/tape recorded meant the diffuiculties with his trip, but then I decided it meant his trip was sucessfull because he had recorded it all? I think I definately was wrong, but just want to confirm this.

Anyone know the actual author of this passage that we could find online?

I siad that hte notebook and recording represented the scope of his knowledge/exploration or something like that.

yeah i said the same thing as iced

No… its the difficulties in the changing trip…thats why they’re compared to the boxes. Def. not scope of research.

It definately was scope of reseach.

scope, not difficulty.

senor, youre thinking of a different question. the answer about the boxes was the scope of the undertaking. however, there was a question in which the answer was the difficulty of the task. everyone agree?

Scope = Boxes
Difficulty = Tapes and notebooks

what was the question about boxes asking
