damn it! i think i was just stressing out completely…and i was acutally gonna guess that answer (2x + x^2)…but since it was my first time taking…i thought i woulda made careless errors = deduction if i guessed wrong if i got >2 wrong before the guess…so i didnt guess!

what was the question for the 7.8??

^ 7.8 is if name works 3 hours and other name works 4 hours and they are paid the same rate and make a total of $$, how much are they paid per hour

Not sure if this has been discussed (it’s a long thread), but can anyone explain the one with the triangle that had a horizontal line through it, forming a smaller triangle within the longer one, where you had to find the length of the line through it?
I had both a math teacher and a friend in AP calc try to figure it out and neither could, so I must be remembering it wrong.

^yea, i don’t remember gridding in that one either…was it a grid in?

^ it was 7.8

@missliss it said the numbers had to be different.

What can we expect for 2 missed questions?

I was the only sophomore taking it at my center, lol,

was the answer for the triangle with the line through it and w/e 8? anyone remember this q.?

it wasnt a grid in btw

i got 1 grid in wrong and 2 multiple choice. Someone score me please!?

@ reginaphalange, that may have been an experimental cause i dont remember a question like that

Hey guyz i want to ask a easy question . in the second question of grid in (3<2x<11) find 3x. Did he mention that X must be an integer?

ah crap. i got the bakery fill in wrong. i didnt read the questions close enough, i saw the number 4 and 3 combos, so i just did 432=24. i know you dont get penalized for a wrong grid answer, so could i still get an 800? or should i go shoot myself. this is coming from a junior in multivariablecalc+lin alg…oh damn i feel bad

You had a triangle with 2 known sides of 9 and 12. the Side of 9 was broken into 3(top) and 6(bottom). Since the lines that intersect it are parallel the two angles formed on the left were congruent, and the two angles on the right were congruent as well. Knowing this you could set up a ratio: 9:6 = 12:x, solve and x = 8

is it still right if i gridded in 7.80 instead of 7.8 o.o

someone answer! anyone know when all questions and answers are coming out?

8 is the answer.
@glacial, I dont think it had to be an integer but I just picked x=4 just to make sure

Can anyone remember the question with “2/3” as an answer? I think it was a ratio question.

Updated list! (got this from page 3) feel free to add detail to some of the answers.
