May 2010 Math SAT Thread

@Gummy Head: I think it should be alright, since I remember explicitly reading to not worry about the money sign…and since it does deal with money, they wouldn’t take off pts…OMG im so exciteed!!!

why though?

wats the 32 answer from?

4 breads, choose 3.
iC(4,3) = 4

i honestly don’t know where some of these answers are from, i got it from page 3. maybe i should make a list of the ones everyone knows so far?

so…why is it not 432? it said diff. breads

@ViggyRam: b/c if you have four types of bread (ABCD) you can have: ABC, ABD, ACD, and BCD…any other combinations (DBA, DBC, DCA, etc.) are already included within one of the answers above…the order doesn’t matter, just the fact that they are all different

guyz plz any one is sure whether x was integer in the question 3<2x<11,i out the x with 1.6 and got 3x with 5,i urgently need an answer for my question plz

was the one that had 2x +xsquared, was that C?

wait…nvm…wow, i failed math

i think 32 was the counterexample (though i think the answer was 33) that one more than a multiple of 8 is always a perfect square or something

what were the other options for the question with the median of 26? does anyone remember?

25, 26, 26.5, 27, 27.5 i think

@snickle

I think they had like 26.5, 27, and 27.5 not sure though

So by missing 2-3, what can we expect for a grade on the math section? I made careless mistakes. Dangit/

26.75 was also a choice.

guyz plz any one is sure whether x was integer in the question 3<2x<11,i out the x with 1.6 and got 3x with 5,i urgently need an answer for my question plz :S:S:S:S

number line question: 7/8 wasnt it 9/8?

i messed up on the bakery question and left the one with the exponents (n, x, etc.) blank…ugh, anyone wanna guess a score/the curve?

glacial it said x had to be an integer so acceptable answers were: 6 9 12

it was 7/8…thats wat i got at least
