Did anyone have a question involving the ownership of TV’s? That was the section that I’m pretty sure I didn’t do too well on. Any chance it’s experimental?

I remember there was a question saying that if y=3x+5 and it crosses the y-axis through the point (0,p), then what is the value of p.

The answer was just simply 5

Wow the gridded response totally owned me and they werent even hard -_-. Anyone know what a score of 48 would be?

What about the question where it was a big circle with all these little circles in it and it asked for the area of one of those circles? What was the answer? And was this gridded or MC?

25% between 0.5 and 2 = 7/8
Reason: 2-0.5 = 1.5x0.25% = 3/8 + 1/2 = 7/8

y=3x+5, (0,p)
p is 5 because 5 is the y-intercept.

Hey for the 3<2x<11 question, I think I remember putting 3x = 5. I dont remember it saying anywhere in the question that x has to be an integer
What would would a 52 raw score be?

^ 750-770 depending on the curve.

Oh ok… I’ve already got a 790 the first time so I’m hoping for the superscore. But could one values of 3x = 5 in that question? It satisfies the condition except x will not assume an integer value. (?) Also, do universities like Cornell and Stanford superscore or they look at all your scores?

The question asked for possible integers of x lol.

I don’t know if Stanford superscores but they do require you to submit all scores for review. Same thing for Cornell.

Darth why would you not just pick a simple number like x=4 or 5? lol

Lol i solved it as an inequality so i got 4.5<3x<17.5 and then wrote the closest number satisfying the condition = 3x=5. Lol i was in such a hurry doing the math sections because i wanted to save some energy from WR since ive already gotten a 790 in math but did badly in WR the first time. Suppose i drop here, will unis still see my 790 and understand that i was focusing on my WR? Also, are superscores as valid as single - sit scores?

Hey,
I had an experimental math section… Has anyone deduced which section was experimental?

I think it was section 3…

I seriously don’t remember anything…
I didn’t even have enough time to finish some of the questions…

And I got math for my extra section

what page on this thread is the best/longest consolidated list. i dont feel like sifting through this

i got 1258 because the question said the a<b<c<d
