Did you guys agree on whether they would accept 7.80 for an answer rather than 7.8?

For the new consolidated list: I’m looking for a confirmation of the question with two triangles and one angle x with three angles given.

I believe it was 180-22-57=101
180-101=79
180-79-40=61
Answer: 61

Can anyone confirm this?

Could anyone recall the question for the answer 77?

@WongTongTong

7.8 or 7.80 is fine.
If they didn’t accept one of those 2 answers, people would complain.

@Essays:

Nice job on remember a few more questions. I concur with the 61 answer. Can anyone provide anymore information on the proportion question that had the answer 3?

@Doctor

find k if r/s = kt; I remember one row of the table

r = 180, s= 20, t=3 -> r must equal 3

noo it was not experimental because i had more reading sections than math so it actually counts

@Essays

I remember that one.

Essays, you’re correct. That one was 61.

could someone explain the runner question. I still dont understand it lol. I wanna use it for future reference on the June exam

I think i got I, II and III.
I also put 1258 for the last grid-in, thinking the FIRST digit was the ONES place. Grr!

anyone?

What was the runner question?

@Essays:
I remember it now. There were 4 rows to the table and all of the rows satisfied the equation? I think there might have been another proportion question. Do you recall one?

[.5 and 2 are on a number line. what does 1/4th of the way from .5 to 2 equal]
ANSWER: 7/8

I think i put 7/8 for this question, but my friend and i have been debating about the answer. He put 0.375 because he construed the question as 0.375 being the 1/4th distance between 1/2 and 2, and that if the answer was 7/8, they would have made it clear by asking for the POINT. I think hes got a decent case and im sorta worried, your guys’ opinion?

^I put 7/8, though I can’t remember the exact question, whether it was the distance or the point.

i remember putting 7/8 or something for one question, but does anyone know if there were two questions with"7/8" as the answer or was it only this one?

I think the question asked for the coordinate of the point. the answer was 7/8. Was 0.375 even a choice? This wasn’t a grid in question.

0.375 = 3/8. Might’ve been one of the answer choices. At any rate, 7/8 is correct, 100% sure. I double and triple checked that one, then rechecked the question and checked I’m answering the right question. Seriously. I’m the guy who has all those random and stupid mistakes all over the place so I did that for the simplest questions (such as this) this time to make sure. Didn’t work, I still have 2 wrong due to lack of attention.

I believe I remembered the EXACT question, too:
0.5 and 2 are on a number line. What is the coordinate of the point that is 1/4 the distance from 0.5 to 2.
3/8 (1/4 x 1.5) is the answer for the point, with respect to point A (0.5). From 0, it’s 3/8 + 1/2, which is equal to 7/8 - the coordinate of the point. They didn’t ask for its distance from A, they asked its distance from O (technically.)
