what was the question that mentioned letting blacks into labor unions?

you might be right jaythe, but imo that was a pretty badly phrased question.

From Page 773 of American History: A Survey by Alan Brinkley, underneath the exact same duck and cover picture: “SURVIVING NUCLEAR WAR Preoccupation with the possibility of a nuclear war reached a fever pitch in the first years of the atomic era. The Federal Civil Defense Agency, which in 1950 issued these simple rules for civilians to follow in dealing with an atomic attack, was one of many organizations attempting to convince the American public that a nuclear war was survivable.”

Sorry, but you’re wrong.

@locisima was that the question about why did the blacks migrated north?
i think i put unions

i remember a question about financing wwi and wwii.
was the answer bonds?

I agree with jaythe

Yeah I think the answer was selling war bonds.

@user2134 i put bonds

quote of panning for gold, husband gone = Italian immigrant in 1850’s in NY

yeah, i put that they didn’t want the African Americans to join unions. and yes, i put war-bonds.

yeah it was war bonds, fosho.

Yes it was pretty obviously a Chinese man in California, I don’t know why that hasn’t been fixed yet.

what was the question w/ the answer choice about nationalizing heavy industry for WWI? (which is what I chose)

what was the question about the grangers (i think the answer was that they wanted economic improvement for farmers)

locisima: It was the Populist movement, and yes that’s what I put.

@locisima, i think it was about the populist party, not the grangers. ec. improvement for farmers is the right answer though.

hm I put family farms and cooperatives in that Populist one…

I thought the jazz became popular one was about the rising cultural value of recent immigrants. (was not sure at all though)

what was the answer for the jazz one?
i remember crossing off differed from tradition

“Economy of South in 1815 = mostly cotton, slave labor sold in international markets”

This is describing two different answers. Which one was it? I put mass production of cotton because I seemed to remember the agricultural products mostly being sold domestically. (was not sure about this answer)

The jazz question had to do with differing from tradition (jazz era is pretty different = ex. sexual revolution and flappers).
