5 missing

wasn’t there one about the great depression? i think the question was what was one cause of it.

Yes dancingmac and I believe the answer was overproduction/underconsumption.

nerdattack I think we decided it was to prepare for a European-style war, it would have been more expensive to maintain a national army.

Thanks for the updated list! According to that, at most 2 wrong…hopefully collegeboard doesn’t mess around with the curve enough to drop that below 800.

What were the answer choices for the one about the Continental Army?
Ya, the answer was overproduction/underconsumption.

Wrong reformer match = (can’t remebber teh answer)

Ratified constitution in 1788 = did not have bill of rights (freedom speech)
What was this question asking for?

50 was something like As it was ratified in 1788 the Constitution contained all of the following except: freedom of speech & press, a separate executive, a process for ratification, an endorsement of slavery, and then one other one.

damn! i put the choice with protection for slavery.

you guys are missing that quote question.

that one that ends with “IN CASE WHATSOEVER”

the answer was ‘after stamp act was repealed’

Question: you guys were talking about retaking if under a 750 but I had posted another thread about score receivals and was told that we get scores may 20 and deadline is may 19, so how will you know whether to sign up or not. Sorry this is off topic but I saw that and was jw

Wasn’t there a matching one where it was all are correct except. And the answer was Carter was connected to the Watergate Scandal when it should’ve been Nixon?

^ i dont’ remember seeing anything like that.

Could someone clarify the question about the 1930s and 1950s? I for one put isolationism as the overarching theme/tone/stance of those two decades, and I don’t quite understand how intervention/relations with Latin America in either of those two decades would yield the correct answer. I admit that I do understand that the 50s can’t really be completely isolationist due to the Korean War.

Also, here’s another vote wanting to fight a European war with an army instead of militia!

Another comment I have:
74. Economy of South in 1815 = mostly cotton, slave labor sold in international markets
^Cotton and the international markets bit were two separate answers - what do you guys think was right?

The US definitely was not isolationist in the 1950s, which was during the Cold War. This was only true in the 1930s leading up to WWI. The Latin America relations answer works because of FDR’s good neighbor policy in the 1930s and then Alliance for Progress and the Peace Corps in 1950s.

edit: Wait… Kennedy created the Peace Corps and Alliance for Progress in 1961…

LOL silvertortoise, are you silverturtle with new account?

Yeah, I’m just trying to figure out what connections there were with LatinAm in the 50s :P

@quicksilver

According t Wikipedia

“In the 1950s Latin America was the center of covert and overt conflict between the Soviet Union and the United States. Their varying collusion with national, populist, and elitist interests destabilized the region. The United States CIA orchestrated the overthrow of the Guatemalan government in 1952. In 1957 the military dictatorship of Venezuela was overthrown. This continued a pattern of regional revolution and warfare making extensive use of ground forces.”

I’ve been overwhelmed with hw…just now been able to get on and check the cumulative list. Wow. I think I may have gotten -5 or -6, but then I didn’t read through the list very closely.

27: I think the Continental army was made to fight a European-style war; it would have been much LESS expensive to use militias, because the militias could technically support themselves and raise their own materials. The continental army had to be paid.

I can’t remember whether I put loyalty oath or gerrymandering. Which one is it?

@newaccount - that’s “54. Declatory Act quote = issued in response to repeal of Stamp Act”

@imagodei - general concensus seems to be loyalty oath.
