Wooooo. Everyone said the curve was going to be so hard so I signed up to take the test again. But I missed about 7 I think and I got an 800! Woo.

the curve was normal/easy/.
I missed like 10-12 got a 760.
Still disgusted with myself though.

I thought I got about 10 wrong, but it’s hard to tell now that I’m looking at what everyone else got. Oh well, I’m very happy!

780.

I hate standardized testing.

800!!! totally didn’t expect it, but it made up for my lackluster scores in math and literature.

Agh 740…retaking!!!

I’m very disappointed :(

i plan on taking it in june i was just wondering how you guys prepared?
i’m in apush my quarter grades were like 86 87 89 and i get like 70s and 80s on tests… i figure i got a 3 possible 4 on the ap… it was my first ap ever.
any guesses on my score with some studying?

I got an 800 but only had 1 wrong and 1 debatable answer based off of this thread.

This was definitely a harder curve. Kaplan’s curve had 8 wrong = 800. I know for a fact I didnt get more than 8 wrong (and one skipped) and I got a 770.

Ugh.

Again, I got an 800 with at least 5 wrong (verified on the list), so I can assure CC’ers that the curve was not that harsh. And pseudoreal (#601) claims to have received an 800 with 7 wrong, so the curve might even be that lenient.

i got a 770. i am disappointed. i need an 800!!!

i’m sure i got less than 6 wrong and i left one blank. i guess it was a hard curve.

Is a 780 or 790 REALLY any different than an 800?

For this test, a 790 indicates you missed at least 6-9 questions, while an 800 could mean you got them all right.

Yes, but do colleges really carE?

This is CC…where a sub-2300 SAT won’t get you into community college. Is there anything from an admit officer talking about this?

I do not remember the exact source (somewhere on the harvard website most likely) where there is an article discussing how a Harvard admission counselor said that they should/would consider Subject Tests more heavily than the SATs bc it’s based greatly on what you know.

This is extracted from my memory of something that I read a while ago so take it with a grain of salt, but based upon the fact that school require you to take them and so many people do take them should say something

I’m not talking about the importance of a SAT II over the SAT I

I’m talking about the difference between a 780-90 and an 800

Oops…my apologies :)

Lol it’s fine, anyone else know?

Should i retake a 760 apush?
