May 2013 Biology SAT 2 test

I wrote eutrophication. I just checked the 2006 may discussion and all of the seem to say eutrophication along with some earlier posts in this thread. I think it is prob eutrophication
6 wrong i think on this curve is mid to high 700s?

sadly…but knowing me i gotta account also for some random error so maybe 2-3 more wrong lol so maybe at the worst like 8-9 which still isnt a bad score…thats 760 i think

How will missing 1 and leaving 1 blank get me? What about missing 2 and leaving 1 blank?

probably 800 both ways…screw you and your good score…i felt like that after the test but now i feel like garbage after hearing all these answers…i hope you guys are all wrong!!! aosdajlkgjadglkj jk

How bout 3 wrong? hopefully 790 or 800? which one?

@yjikimnada depends on the curve…your good for 800 i think tho. If the test was more specifc on certain topics i would have done much better i feel.

I can’t believe this thread exists lol I just read all your posts and I think I missed around 6 or 7 but I skipped a bunch too

Do any of you know of a similar forum for us history?

Maybe there will be one thread in June?

were keepin it alive!

Is it possible a -3 or -4 is an 800? How have curves been in the past?

lol around -9 and no omit. what am i looking at?

ugggg… reading this forum is making me more and more depressed. I think I’m at a -12 with no omit. Anyone know what score? I’m taking it again in June so I guess I will look at the forums for previous SAT Bio tests to familiarize myself because they’ll probably end up using previous year’s questions. Lastly, the forest one, I’m pretty sure was beech forest. Anyone disagree?

I put beech forest…but i was almost gonnna put mixed coniferous…but it would have been mostly beech in 250.

yeah beech forest… I think -3 or -4 may be 800

wait so can i get confirmation on these things:
Carbon Cycle: was the answer A “It moves slowly through the biosphere” ?
Colorblindness in sons: Was it 1/4 or 1/2? 1/4 would be taking into account the 2 genders, while 1/2 would only be taking into account the sons. what was the exact wording of the question?
Apes vs. Humans: Was it the brain cavity?
Insects (Ecology Question): Does a society means assigning a function to each individual?

Do you guys remember something like “the photosynthesis is slower” for like the Rock or something?

Yes the carbon cycle and photosynthesis quesiton is carbon moes slowly through biosphere.

Colorblind son is 1/4 because we have to consider gender

Ape vs Human is indeed brain cavity

Insects ecology. I took ecology and yes to be a society it means it divdes certain jobs to certain insects.

@smarty1201. Yes the answer is it moves slowly in the biosphere

THANK GOD. the carbon one was A right? just making sure lol. the colorblind one was worded wierdly though. There was one very similar to that on the columbia science honors program test, and i confirmed with others that it was 1/2. But now collegeboard decides to do this…

Anyways, @yjkimnada were there any confusing/tricky ones in E? i dont remember much.

I also took the columbia shp test. Although Im a freshman, I hope I get in :)

A couple people on this thread confirmed that gender had to be considered because they were tricked on such questions previously and made sure to read this question several times.

The E section was fine. It was a few questions in the common 60 that were a bit weird.
