May 2013 SAT Discussion Thread

@ Dreamer1623

I don’t remember a knitting question.

The section with the knitting question is probably experimental because I didn’t have it.

Does anyone remember the one with the triangles with the 30 degree, 40 degree, and 110 degree angle one? Wasnt it 3df or something?

yeah the answer was choice C

I got 3DF for that question.

That 3DF question stumped me.

I had back-to-back writing as well.

That 3df question was the last mc before the fill-in right?

the ones I skipped in Math:

Diagonal Question
3DF Question
School Table Question
Snowflake Hexagon Question
Something else; I forgot, but I think it had something to do with variables maybe.
What I got wrong:
The remainder 3 question (but it was a grid in, so no penalty)

Two questions: What was the one with let N with a circle around it like with 4 through 25 and the one on the first math section with the circle and the angle of 100 and u had to find the measure of the arc?

@Yanke125 I believe that the answer was (25) - (3)

180+40= 220 degrees for the arc

Did the real writing section have the who/whom question or was that experimetal?

Who had the sum of the squares question?
I remember it had like
4^2, 5^2, 6^2…25^2
the answer choices were circles with numbers inside… Was that also experimental?

The real writing section is the one with the passage about cooking.

Assuming that the curve will be similar to either january or march’s, any predictions for what 4 blank and 1 wrong in math will be?

What was the reading experimental
I didn’t have one about corn

You just answered your own question…

@mattyboy in march 4 omitted was a 700, so 1 more wrong would probably be a 690. but the curve should be a little better than march and january

What did people get for the math question that was like 2^somethingx + 8^y. The answers were like 4x, 3x, and 3x^2
