MAY 2014 PHYSICS SUBJECT TEST

We can request to rush scores only after the score is available online (22nd May) - am i correct?

Is 730 a decent score?

Oh, I got 800!!! So glad

800!!

My daughter took SAT II Physics in March the first time and got low 700s she took it again in May and got low 600s. She thought she did better. Any thought?

Guys with >750: What books did you use? How long did you prep?

i got a 750…should i retake?

I got an 800. All I did was work hard in AP Physics B and self-study the information that I didn’t know. I would STRONGLY recommend going to the topics outline on the college board site and self-study things you don’t know. (ex. Relativity, Polarization etc)

I got 770. Disappointed because I got 800 on all Barron’s tests the College Board test… Will give it again in June… I did not know most of the 12th grade theory, so I used Barron’s to study for it. This is probably what went wrong…

If you don’t know any of the chapters thoroughly, I recommend using P.R or any physics course book to study. Barron’s New edition does not include a lot of material which is actually tested in the exam. For example, my book did not include the formulae and graph for kinetic energy of a particle close to the speed of light ( Ymc^2) , did not include transients ( look at college board book for the exact syllabus)
