May SAT 2011: CR Section

^-- 7 wrong is -9 though. So if there’s a good curve a -9 should be about a 700.

^^ its not that unlikely that even -10 will be 700 considering the difficulty of the CR.

@businessisbiznez: Hopefully that’s the case, but I’m not getting my hopes up. The only really difficult passage was the cave painting one, so the curve might not be as amazing as we want.

Bahh I really want over a 700.

I was wondering if anyone could confirm if there was a 21 question section for CR as Section 2, which was 25 minutes. It’s bothering me cuz I don’t remember flipping the last page. And, I had 4 reading sections if that helps in the confirmation. Thanks in advance.

^ you just keep going until it says STOP SECTION OVER…

^ loll
but unhelpful =P

@ENZ
i’m sorry to tell you this but i don’t think there was a section with 21 questions
there was a section with 23 questions
you probably missed the last two questions
no biggie
just make sure it doesn’t happen next time
good luck on your score!

I see, well better luck next time I guess. Thanks JBCHUN! And business “cool story bro”.

Are you sure that the " the inclusiveness of society" was choice E? i clearly remembered i chosed and the last four questions of the section were something like A D A D, anyway no E…so strange?

@ aurora i got ADAD for last 4 questions of writing section too…dun rmb abt cr

@kikocupcake
didn’t he mean he got ADAD in the reading section?

Well how many questions does each section include???
i can’t remember it clearly as i got a CR experimental

What’s your first section? Black girl or Whales plus nightime?
Which ought to have 25 qs?

happy atleast someone thinks like me =)

can anyone remember the general question for “firm/outspokeness”?

What’s the scale is going to be like for this Critical Reading section???

What would like 10-12 questions wrong be?

Kicking a long-since decomposed horse here…

I concede that it probably was “general agreement” for that one question for the Cave Paintings. But does anyone remember the “Gifted Artists” one better than I do? Because, as I remember, it asked how the guy cited in Passage 2 would regard some stuff in Passage 1. Passage 1 spoke of the “Michaelangelos of their day;” Passage 2 eschewed the painters as impish children.

@sma1013
i think 5 or 6 wrong is 700
so 10~12 wrong would be high 500s or sub 600s

Also, for the last passage, what was the playfully careless answer to? And what were some of the other options?
