<p>I hate beating a dead horse of an argument, but with the passage posted on page 79, the author of passage 1 will show mild skepticism to guthrie’s theory of teens painting cave art. </p>

i still think it to be general agreement.
although he did cite that he thought their were many great artists, that wasn’t per se an argument for why it was important to the art. like he didn’t say BECAUSE it was done by great artists the art is important. in fact, he barely mentions those artists after the first paragraph. he then goes on to talk about the beauty and successfullness of the art is amplified because of other reasons. the last line says the “role of art” was “spectacularly successful” because of its unwavering qualities.
his comment about there being many great artists is just an assumption he is operating under, not an argument. I think he still would have “generally agreed” that it doesn’t matter who did it, but its still powerful</p>

<p>The question was asking about the last sentence of the 2nd passage which basically stated that beauty was the most important aspect of the cave art. The “artists” who created the works were not the focus, but the visceral appeal of the art produced. The answer is general agreement.</p>
<p>If mild skepticism is correct, then I will post on the board, “BOO YAH.” I put that answer choice, and I am still not convinced otherwise.</p>
