May SAT 2011: CR Section

@saut: very very good thing! :)

YES CANUCKS. first time in the finals since i was born. nucks nucks nucks nucks nucks. im just so choked i cant go to a game cause the tickets are so expensive. like ridiculous prices. i think the lower end prices are $500.

well thats what i get for living in van i guess…

Reading: 760
Math: 660
Writing: 680

First time. No practice. No prep (unlike the majority of kids at my school.) Although I’m disappointed in my math score, I am SUPER happy.

the hell you guys talking about?
the results aren’t out yet till 2 am

lol they def are out ^^ since a few hours ago

M: 620 (ouch)
CR: 680
W: 700

CR+M=1400/1600
2000/2400

CR: 800 (got at least 2 wrong)
W: 800 (MC 79 Essay 12)
M: 790 (most likely got one wrong; that’s not a shock. I’ve been predicting that score ever since May 7)

Congrats to all of you!

BTW according to the list we had, I had 9 wrong but I ended up with a 660
so maybe the curve was generous?

the curve was VERY generous i got an 800 and i literally cried after the test because i thought i got so many wrong…

I thought the CR was very easy compared to the practice tests I had taken. Anyways I got an 800.

A took an entire year off not studying any SAT-related problem after suffering a nervous breakdown my sophomore year and I managed something halfway decent.

Math- 630 (yeah…I probably missed some easy ones)
CR- 680 (woooooop)
Writing- 750 (should’ve checked over my mc cause it may have made a difference)

All in all, I’m ecstatic with a 2060. One step closer to UVA!

I’m curious, how did DH/PR Hit Parade perform for the May 2011 SATs?

Was pretty confident about my answers… and I guess I was right ! (:

Got an 800. (First Try)

mwahahaha. mine were…

700 - critical reading
670 - math
670 - writing.

I’m satisfied. :)

lol i love how the people here ie sweetpuri, lordf, and a couple others who compiled the list with me had i think several disagreements but we all ended up getting great scores  and yes, i think the curve is rather generous for reading… i got at least one wrong.

@sauternety36: Your list helped me a lot in predicting my scores. I too, got a 800, and we should all be happy that a community like ours has many smart and kind people.

This was actually a great discussion thread! Congrats everyone! Good luck on those subject tests in a week if you’re taking them and have a great summer! Really looking forward to it.

Can someone link me to this list?
