I’m going to tell yall what I want in a school, and hopefully those familiar with these schools (have attended, visited) can tell me more than the school wesbite, studentsreview.com, collegeboard, and all of the other resources I’ve tried.

What I’m looking for:
Great academics (worth the tuition)
diverse student body
transfer housing availability (and not hard to get)
study abroad opportunities
good job/grad school placement
size doesn’t matter so much
prefer it to be in the north
non-conservative student body (not to say must be LIBERAL, but I don’t want a school where conservativism is the norm and everyone else is kinda left out)
not big fraternity scene (don’t like it)
beautiful campus

Think that’s all I can really think of for now. Here are the schools I’m looking at…I know I’ve done this, but I don’t want to miss out on a school. I really don’t care how many I apply to (not dead set on a specific number) but I don’t want to spend money on an app for a school I’ll probably not like. Schools I’m considering:

Cornell
Columbia
Williams
Brown
Bowdoin
Amherst
Northwestern
UPenn
Swarthmore
NYU
Chicago
Colorado College
Georgetown
WUSTL
UVA
Wesleyan
UBC

Like I said, I’ve got good reasons for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE SCHOOLS, and so now it ultimately comes down to which ones fit most or all of my preferences. For instance, I’ve heard the greek scene at NU is quite large…is that true? Would I be left out if I didn’t join? That’s a sample question. If yall could give me more info a/b schools you’re familiar with regarding my prefs, I’d be VERY GREATFUL. Thanks.
