Maybe they should hire some Ivy League Adcoms

<p>CNN is reporting that companies are receiving 33 applications for every posted job opening … up from 21 last year. Hey, I know a seasoned group accustomed to handling those sorts of applicant-to-openings ratios.</p>

<p>The article was purportedly good news for 2012 college grads … COMPANIES WILL HIRE MANY MORE GRADUATES THAN IN 2011. Unfortunately I have a bad habit of reading the article that follows the headline. Sorry. Last week there was an article entitled I HAVE JOBS BUT NO ONE WANTS THEM. Part time minimum wage jobs … no benefits. This too shall pass.</p>

<p>Yes, Kellogg will say we need an engineer for the cornflake line, and the Adcom will say, well how about an oboe player from Montana who mentored junior unicyclists? Great stats too!</p>
