Alright, so I’m finishing up a supplement and the question is about the biggest challenge I have ever faced. I’m tempted to refer to a situation as my own “personal hell,” because I’m not sure how else to describe it with as much feeling. Might that be acceptable, or should I go a safer route?

I would use it, it’s not like you are saying ‘what the hell?’.

Don’t worry, that’s fine. You aren’t using it in an inflammatory sense. You are using it to allude to the literal definition of “hell.”

Great, thanks!
