What session is your daughter attending the NSC? Mine is going to the first one. And Fish Camp registration begins April 18!
Have not accepted yet. Deciding between UT Austin CBHP, USC Marshall (merit - 50% tuition), Michigan Ross (OOS tuition), UNC Chapel Hill Business (OOS tuition), Indiana Kelley(OOS, 10K per yr merit), Texas A&M Mays (full ride). Visited UT, TAMU, Michigan & USC. D liked Michigan the best. USC is a really pretty campus. Probably going to accept UT Austin CBHP.

@voda2013 all great options!! My daughter also got into USC Marshall; it was her other top choice…but they waited until late April to let her know. She was sick of waiting, chose TAMU (she’s a 3rd Gen Aggie) and hasn’t looked back!
A good friend from high school is In Engineering at Michigan-loves the campus!
Sorry that A&M didn’t make the cut…Mays/BH/Brown is a combination that just can’t be beat.
McCombs is an incredible Business school. They will be lucky to have her.

Does Mays business Honors ever accept test optional students? I am doing reconnaissance for my child who will be applying in fall of 2024. She is ranked 1/700. Large Texas high school, but Has no desire to take the SAT. Personally, we think test optional will hurt her chances for business honors at both UT and TAMU.
@Desertpalm11 hmmm good question. The exact criteria for BH isn’t posted. Does your student have high honors received, awards, community service and leadership, as well as Valedictorian?
I know MANY in my Aggie’s BH cohort were NMS/F and NM Commended, so test scores are definitely considered.
I would strongly suggest take both SAT and ACT. If they do well, submit the score, if they don’t…then no harm. Assume they’ll take PSAT at school?

I agree. Importantly, Mays Business Honors applicant students are “encouraged” to submit SAT/ACT scores and priority review is granted to applicants with an SAT/ACT score on file. Importantly, that is directly from Mays Business Honors.
