How would Capitol Hill and White House experience look when applying for an MBA? I am thinking about a JD/MBA. What schools are good that offer a dual degree?

Obviously any school that has a good law and med-school will be a good place for such a dual-degree. I.e. Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, Penn, Columbia, Michigan, Chicago, Northwestern, Berkeley, UCLA.

Government experience is perfectly fine when apply for an MBA. However, if government work is what you want to do, then maybe the JD/MBA is not really for you. You may be better off with an MPP or a joint MPP combo, like an JD/MPP or a MPP/MBA.

That type of experience can be beneficial both in terms of connections, and in demonstrating leadership. I know I will be attempting to get some of those internships. However, it is important in what areas you interned. For example, if you managed to intern with the trade office at the white house, then that would really augment your application. As for JD/MBA, I've heard about it, but I really don't know much about it. In my opinion, it would be an exceptional combination for grad school, but something tells me that getting into that dual degree program may be a competitive process, but don't take my word for it, go and check it out. Good luck with your grad application!

tbnveracruz, I'm in the same situation: been in DC for several years, currently working for fed. gov't., and considering prominent JD/MBA programs.

How does a med school help here?

Sorry, typo. I meant to say good law school and B-school.
