B.S. Biblical Studies (no undergraduate engineering coursework)
Master of Systems Engineering
2.5 yrs engineering experience

Future desires: Executive Management

Options:

  1. Graduate Certificate (Strategic Management) - Harvard Extension School
  2. M.S. Industrial Engineering: Systems Engineering - Columbia Video Network
  3. MBA - some other school (online)
  4. take undergrad engineering courses

Which of these would your current employer help pay for?

They will pay for all of them. Price of program isn’t really an issue.

Is there any that they would prefer you to complete? A visit to Human Resources and a chat with people currently in positions to which you might be aspiring probably are in order.

I was looking for outside advice… Don’t look too much into other details. Just curious to people’s take on it

Personally, I would definitely go for engineering, as it seems to be one of the most lucrative fields to have a degree in. MBA programs are often said to teach vague skills.
