I’m applying to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the prompt for my essay is to discuss an artist that’s influenced my work, and talk about both my work and their work. I’m not really sure what to talk about. I mean, I have artists I like, but I wouldn’t exactly say they’ve INFLUENCED me, per se. The application is dues soon, help?
Note: I’m a sophomore at a state university right now looking to transfer, so I haven’t gone through the application process in a few years. MCAD is also the only school I’m applying to right now.
