During the ten minute breaks that we have, can we have food, drink, and use the bathroom at all??

The MCAT is a test of your bladder and rectal sphincter tone as much as it is a test of your test-taking skills.

How long does the test take?

^ Its about 4.3 hours of test-taking, and more like 5 hours with breaks and everything.

Physical Sciences = 70 Minutes
Verbal Reasoning = 60 Minutes
Writing Sample = 60 Minutes
Biological Sciences = 70 Minutes

Yeah, you can go to the restroom or eat a snack or whatever during your break. I would recommend bringing a bottle of gatorade and some granola bars and leaving them in the lockers they provide and it will be easily accessible during the breaks. And don’t worry too much if you’re getting close to the 10 minutes - the test doesn’t actually start until you sit back down and click into the next section. (but 10 minutes is generally more than enough time - I never took more than 5 - the big time consuming step is having to fingerprint scan back into the testing room)
