MCAT Vocab

I am wondering if there is a good ‘vocab list’ for the verbal section available anywhere.

Thanks!

Not sure I follow. Why would you need a “vocab list” for an exam testing critical thinking ability?

Do you even know the format of the MCAT?

[Amazon.com: The Merriam-Webster Dictionary](http://www.amazon.com/Merriam-Webster-Dictionary/dp/087779930X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1213422446&sr=8-2)

Maybe ubermusician was thinking of the SAT?

I am aware that the MCAT tests critical thinking skills. However, I was not originally raised in US so I have a little verbal trouble and the verbal section DOES contain some difficult words in the passage and in the questions/answer choices.

Okay, well a serious answer:

I haven’t taken the MCAT yet, but if I were in your position, what I would do is: read a relatively dense publication like The Economist or Scientific American with a dictionary in hand, and every time you come across an unfamiliar word, look it up.
