MCAT Weighting

How much weighting do schools put on the MCAT pre and post interview?

In the University of Toronto, it’s used as a flag to get an interview, and is irrelevant after the interview. Is this at all common?

There’s a few schools that claim that this is the case. Baylor and UCSF come to mind. There’s a few schools that explain that it remains equally important after the interview (the interview itself is essentially pass/fail) – Penn is one of them.

So – it varies.

most of the places i interviewed said that once you get the interview it meant that they were confident your “numbers” were good enough to succeed at their school, and that after that point everything in your application no longer mattered and it was only up to how you did on your interview day.
