If McCain is elected and gets his wish, he will send the U.S. and the World into a depression.

I keep telling you guys, McCain is a liberal.

A Conservative have gotten US $3.75 gas from <$1.25 in 2001. A 3x price increase. $4.00 by Memorial Day?

A positive aspect is that US production of greenhouse gases will come down in the later half of 2008: No can afford the electricity cost to cool their homes, can’t fuel their cars, and BBQ’s will stop. Energy security in the Mideast will be even more important because of $200/barrel oil.

McCain is only following the lead of other energy producers and users and their leaders: Its good business to look Green.

Please, the next president is going to preside over a prolonged economic depression. I hope it’s Obama so we get a Republican next time.

For what it’s worth, I think Bush had very little to do with this current economic depression. The main people at fault are American citizens. Spend, spend, spend and just take on more and more debt. How amazingly idiotic.
