McCain's good idea

<p>It didn’t get much attention in the press, but it’s right here in his May 15, 2008, speech delivered in Columbus, Ohio.</p>

<p>“I will ask Congress to grant me the privilege of coming before both houses to take questions, and address criticism, much the same as the Prime Minister of Great Britain appears regularly before the House of Commons.”

<p>I’ve seen broadcasts of some of those sessions; the Canadians do something similar. Pretty irreverent and, at times, even raucous. If he wins, I’d love him to do this. If Obama wins, I wonder if he’d agree to do something similar.</p>
