Did anyone comment on this yet??
On the front page of McCain’s Website there are 4 main sections. Along with “Jobs”, “Strategy” and “Decision Center”, there is “GOLF GEAR”!!!
I can’t believe this guy is serious! I guess he trying to appeal to his base.

I just saw it. Incredible! Four tabs on page one, one of which is for McCain Golf Gear!!

I wonder if someone hacked into the site and they don’t know it yet?

Well, that’s sure to win the black vote.

It appears this was added recently for the upcoming “Father’s Day” holiday. What’s the big deal? BO has a section in his website with merchandise as well. Yup, let’s read into it something that isn’t there, like there are no black golfers.

Ridiculous.

OK, that makes sense- the fathers day special tab on the website.

I think VeryHappy was referring the the famous black golfer.

BO’s website is a bit different - don’t you think? It sells the usual bumper sticker, t-shirt stuff and it’s labeled “Store”. McCAin’s is labeled “Golf Gear” - just a different feeling I think.

woody,

As I said previously, this is “father’s day special” with a golf merchandise set.
They both have “store” tabs on their websites that sell the usual stuff.

What “feeling” does it give you?

At least McCain’s Web store offers “green” items, unlike Obama’s. You NEED a bamboo cloth polo shirt with “McCain” on it.

(Cue my eye rolling.)

The odd thing about it is that it comes just after President Bush announced that he had stopped playing golf because there’s a war on. I’ve read that McCain hates golf, so it’s probably not meant to convey anything except that the campaign wants to sell merch.
