anyone transferring to Desautels? I am still at RFR
Gave back a spot for those waiting on college of arts…
Daughter was so happy she got into McGill back in April. Was in limbo over winter months. Got into faculty of Arts . Waitlisted to science’. Got accepted into Science in early May.
The Quebec student permit I got out April 30… we just got confirmation from Quebec immigration and certificate is in mail.
Just got waitlisted in Arts second degree this morning and refused due to limited space in science. I’m an international student finished my first degree with honours at a university in Nova Scotia. Kind of frustrating. Does anybody know the possibility to get off the waitlist?
My CGPA is 3.89/4.0 with honours and my major GPA is 4.0/4.0…
@bhsfwzh15 dang you got rejected with 3.89 from science. I am applying BCom and I am still at RFR. Mine CGPA is 3.96. I am an international student studying at a college in the US
@mcgillplsQQ Yeah, unfortunately,… Just wonder are second degree applicants in the same pool with transfer/college applicants?
@bhsfwzh15 I’m not entirely sure but I think McGill admits second degree applicants at the end of the admission cycle. What does it say under Admission Type on your Minerva?
@Douglock it says Nova Scotia University/College
@bhsfwzh15 Then I’m guessing second degree and transfer applicants come from the same pool, especially because on McGill’s website they list Transfer, Second Degree, Special and Visiting students under the same category (University). @cosmicloop I tried to paste the facebook link here but I guess they don’t allow it. Anyway, there’s an official facebook page for McGill’s 2019 entering class. Just search for “McGill entering class 2019-2020” on fb and you’ll find it.
