Does anyone have any insight to the level of baseball played by McGill? I have a son(U.S. resident, dual citizen) who would like to play baseball in college while going to a good school, and McGill is one of the schools that has appeal, due to family connections and overall strength of the academics.
Is it a lesser brand of ball than, say, a NESCAC school?
Have you asked over at hsabaseballweb.com? I have a 13 yo baseball player and, in looking around, have seen several people mention that as the “go to” source for baseball recruiting info.
For some reason I can’t join the HSAbaseballweb.com. When I tried to join, I was refused (paraphrasing here) on the grounds that they “weren’t sure of my motives for joining”. I have no idea what they are thinking. I’m just an ordinary Dad/youth BB coach with a talented, bright, HS junior, baseball playing son who is looking for college options.
So, I can’t start or reply to a thread there.
takeitallin, thanks for the link. That article answered a lot of questions.
