<p>Are the clubs services at McGill any good, plentiful, diverse? I was looking through SSMU online, and I didn’t find all that much. I’m not planning on living in rez for first year, so I’m hoping that I can build a social network through clubs/events on campus. What about in the Montreal community? Are there plenty of opportunities to get involved for those who aren’t non-bilingual?</p>

<p>Have you seen [SSMU</a> - Students Society of McGill University - Celebrating 100 Years](<a href=“http://ssmu.mcgill.ca/?page_id=83?]SSMU”>http://ssmu.mcgill.ca/?page_id=83?) Because it lists all the clubs/services alphabetically (they’re hoping to have an option to search for clubs by category in the future). There’s also an Activities Night mid-September during which all McGill clubs are on display for students.</p>
<p>Bilingualism is only required if you intend to work here. You can volunteer without knowing French.</p>
