Hello, I’m an out-province student studying in Dal cs who’s in 2nd year. I have applied for arts in Mcgill for transfer with a cgpa of 3.98. In may 6th I found out that I was waitlisted, but no further updates since then. Is there anyone else who got accepted? Or any other kind of updates will help, thanks!

I don’t have information about decisions this year, but typically the transfer waitlist decisions go out after the waitlist for new admits. A lot of transfers don’t get any decision till July so getting notified at the beginning of May was early. Transfers can be notified as late as mid-August that they are getting off the waitlist; hopefully you won’t have to wait that long.

Yes, I found out what you said after browsing the past threads regarding the transfer. I was quite surprised that I was waitlisted that early since a lot of people back in a year or two years ago said they were waitlisted either in July or even August. Also, I emailed the service point for about five times regarding the transfer information but they just repeated the same statement in each reply so I gave up. Thank you for your information though, hopefully I can end this waiting asap
