McGill vs. Case Western

Just curious: whats are the respective pros and cons

And which is better overall?

Academically…almost same…Though Case has less students.
But Mcgill is a lot cheaper.
In the US, prestige level is almost same between two, but Mcgill has higher prestige internationally(Especially in Europe).
And Montreal vs. Cleveland.

McGill would be my hands down choice - based on the cities (Montreal vs. Cleveland) alone. I think if you do some research you’ll lean towards one or the other. Tuition costs are just the icing on the cake.

Case and Mcgill are both rly good in medicine.

For Business I think they’re about the same, for Social Sciences McGill has the edge.

I think Mcgill has more international repute but academically its similar to Case W.

Case is muchh smaller, Montreal is a better location than Cleveland, not by THAT much, but still…

Agree disagree??? thats the impression i got

i just declined johns hopkins for mcgill!!!~
the schools dont really matter that much~think more about the atmosphere, the people there and things like that

It’s not like its a HUGE jump between JHU and McGill, it’s better to be were you’re comfortable at the undergrad level

SebmaFSX_53: Have you ever been to Cleveland? Not to disrespect an entire city, and Cleveland has some good stuff, but how many times can you visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Cleveland is the poorest large city in the US, has a very high crime rate and is virtually deserted downtown after 5 pm weeknights and on the weekend. Montreal IS THAT much nicer. Case is a good school for the sciences/math, but I was up in MTL settling my d. into her new apartment in the ghetto this weekend–it was hopping. The downtown and housing are intergrated in most Canadian cities insuring a lively street scene and many services. For example, many US cities dont have a large downtown supermarket, yet there are three ( including one large natural food store ) within five minute walk of my d.'s apartment.

Yea I’ve been to Cleveland many times,

Location aside I wanted a comparison of academic strengths…

Science, business, social sciences, etc…
