McGrawHills: Conquering SAT Writing

I just got this e-book from my public libraries online website (14 day limit on each pdf/copy, and upto 10 e-books) :stuck_out_tongue: I am planning on getting the Princeton Review 2012 from there too when I finish with this book (hopefully nobody gets it by then)

I <3 my library.

I would like to just say that this book helped me MUCH MUCH more then the book Hack The SAT.

From what I read in the grammar rules, it gave a more concise and thorough overview of grammar rules tested in the SAT, and I feel that I actually learned something.

Although I am not done with the book, I can vouch for it so far.

But I plan on reading silverturtles guide after this one. So I can solidify anything I might have missed.

Anyone else used/checked this book?

I wonder how that works…Wouldn’t one just copy and save it by then?

I have McGraw-Hill’s 12 SAT Practice Tests with PSAT, 2ed, but haven’t touched it since Xiggi said never touch non-official Sat tests, Hehe.

Conquering SAT Writing sounds cool, I wonder if it has as good skill building skills as I think it does, judging from your post, I’m guessing it does. If possible you should save and share. =]

Nope, it is a library copy. It isn’t in PDF form (however you can read it perfectly just like a pdf). It has a special “lock” or a safety system, which basically ONLY opens when used with the right software, which is Adobe Digital Edition (it’s just like Adobe Reader, just the library version). The lock also has a specific date (14 days) before it expires and you are unable to open it.

Pretty innovative if you ask me :P

Hmm yeah, but they can’t prevent Screen Shot captures still hmm, Photoshop, if you have used it, uses multiple Layers, so you could go prnt scrn, and then move to the photoshop window and ctrl v, and repeat , what is it like 200 pages? hmm

That file would be a decent size but you could always save it as a low quality .psd and then distribute. but then only people with photoshop would be able to use it, so you’d probably want to save each individual image by skipping layers, now this I know will take quite a bit of time, around an hours worth. I think its still TOTALLY worth it. and you could probably find some software to make things faster. Considering the amount of people you’d be helping, I think its totally worth it.

Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not asking you to do that, or anything like that, just stating something that’s possible. I would totally kill for something like that for the BB2, since I can’t seem to find it in any store in my country.
