McKinsey sophomore internship

Does anyone have information regarding the McKinsey Sophomore Diversity Leaders Internship? According to the website it is open only to sophomores studying at Harvard, Duke, Penn, and Yale; and no other school. Does anyone on the Penn boards know why this is so? It can’t be solely because of prestige, because then Princeton and Stanford (among others) would be included. So is it because these schools have the best relationship with McKinsey? Also would a Wharton student be preferred over a student at the college although it says Penn (as a whole). Can anyone please let me know the answer to these questions because my friend who is a rising sophomore at Penn (Wharton) is thinking about applying to this particular program, and since she does not (chooses not to) have access to CC I am posting this on her behalf.
