Mcmaster Engineering Undergraduate applying for graduate study in Top 10 American Universities

I am wondering is it hard for a Mac Eng undergraduate student with high GPA to apply for the graduate study in Top 10 American Universities (MIT, Stanford, Caltech, etc)? Do you guys know anyone who successfully got in to top American Universities for graduate study after getting their bachelor degree in Mac? Thanks for your answer in advance!

I’m not sure why going to McMaster would matter here. Sure a student from there would have a shot at top American programs.

@lovelifegoeson - Welcome to the forum! A degree from McMaster is perfectly fine. More important is what you have done at McMaster. That is, do you have research experience? How is your GPA? Have you taken a rigorous curriculum? Will you have strong, personalized letters of recommendation? Graduate admissions look at the whole application and the name of the school which has awarded the degree is less important than you may think as long as it is a legitimate university.
