<p>My daughter is filling out some of her residential information, and they’re asking her to choose a meal plan. Based on the crazy schedules MT students have and fact that the MT building is not on campus, do any current MT students or parents recommend any meal plan over the other? Does the cafeteria offer bag lunches as an option?</p>
<p>Hi haven’t been here for a while, but in case you still need info on meal plan…the most efficient is the Freshman Exclusive. No matter how you figure it, even though you may need to add a few more dining dollars, it is the most economical for first year. Yes, they spend a lot of time “off-campus” and they can order lunch at Backstage Cafe on the meal plan. I know there was talk about trying to get Backstage tobalsa be good for dinner, but as of last semester it was not. One thing we learned about late in the game is called Chef Express, it is an order ahead/pick up choice that can probably make life a bit easier. There is an order form online, sorry I cannot find the link, the choices are a bit limited, but she can order and pick up food. The folks in that office are really great and don’t want the kids to starve they will take you through options and creatw one if none exists. I am still have trouble understanding all of the terminology, daughter will understand the way it all works within a week of being at school.</p>
