Meal points

Do meal points roll over to your sophomore year?

they’re converted into y2blue $ at 2.50/swipe

you can use it on campus like at the silo/dc, but not off-campus

Sorry, what is y2blue?

[Welcome, Dining Services, UC Davis](<a href=“Dining at UC Davis | UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services”>Dining at UC Davis | UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services)

At the end of each quarter, all leftover meals roll over to the next quarter. At the end of the year, all leftover meals will be converted to a cash equivalent at a rate of $2.25 / meal and will be transferred to Y2 Blue Funds. Students may, at the end of each quarter, opt to convert leftover meals to Y2 Blue Funds rather than rolling meals over to the next quarter.

Y2Blue Funds, also known as conversion funds, are declining balance (debit) accounts that may be used to purchase food in any University Dining Services facility on campus. Like Gold Plus, Y2Blue purchases are non-taxable.

If a student runs out of meal credits for the quarter can they pay for their meals in cash, or do you need to purchase the meal blocks?

if you run out of meals, you can purchase meal blocks.

it’s $8 to get into the DC with cash

meal blocks i think only come in blocks of 50

Can I use y2blue at taco bell, pizza hut, CJ, etc?

yeah the ones in the silo :)

awesome, thank you
