Sorry I have been posting so many threads lately… they are different questions that require different threads.

Due to financial matters I have to stay at either Apollo or Libra (according to the Housing Prepayment Deferment). Even though I would like to live in the Towers so that I can have a single and a kitchen, it is not possible. Since I will be unable to get a meal plan, what should I do about my meals?
I would like to have a hot plate and/or toaster oven, but they are not allowed. Are skillets allowed?
If not, what would be my best option? It would be too expensive for me to eat out.

Get a microwave and a fridge… honestly, it looks like a lot of Easy Mac in your near future. Your area community will have a kitchen though with a real oven, stovetop, etc. though.

What I do to save money is about once every couple weeks I eat a HUGE meal at the Marketplace or Knightro’s. It’s about 8 bucks, all you can eat. I stuff myself there, and then snack or eat light meals to keep me going till the next one.
Also, UCF has a lot of clubs that give out free food to support this or that. So there you go… :)

I’m in Libra and I manage. And they say you’re not allowed to have a toaster… but uh, as long as a) your RA doesn’t care/snoop or b) you’re good at hiding things, it doesn’t really matter.

Libra/Apollo also have community kitchens where you can cook things. My roommate cooks once a week or so there and then reheats stuff during the week from our fridge.

And like redslash said, there’s a TON of free food everywhere on campus for everything.
