Meaning of Defference?

Is there any benifit in RD round? I heard that not that many people get this option? Can we not retake act/sat because December is the last month?

deference means respectful submission. It is a noun.

On the other hand, being deferred means that you’re a strong applicant who merits a second evaluation in the broader context of RD applicants. If you were deferred, it was likely not because of your SAT/ACT score, anyway.

The OP said defferrence, which is wrong also. It’s deferment (or deferral, a variant).

That’s exactly the benefit. It’s an option given to very few. It means you have another shot, probably a better one since SCEA is full of extremely competitive students.

Correct.
