Hi, I have transferred from CityTech CUNY to UB. I picked this school because a lot of people say that it has the most respected engineering programs in SUNY. Some people say that Stony Brook has a great reputation. I checked niche and it looks like UB Buffalo is up a notch in the mechincal engineering major than UB.
I also tend to worry if I graduate from UB, it might take long to job. To my response, people have said that public colleges don’t matter. It’s experience. Plus, it’s really long to get here which I have no problem, but carrying luggage will be an issue.
I wonder if SBU has a lot of off-campus and on-campus jobs like UB.
I plan to transfer to SBU. But I’m wondering that if that’s a good idea or should I stay at UB.
