Mechatronics?

Are there any colleges in New York or on the east coast for Mechatronics?

RIT offers a certificate program.

Many programs are 2-year associate degrees.

In NY, Vaughn College has a BS and RIT has a certificate program.

MVCC offers Mechatronics! its a new program. I go to MVCC, if you have any questions feel free to ask me

@BobWallace and @merc81 What is a certificate program? And is Vaughn even a good college? I looked into it and it has a great B.S program. @NASA2014 MVCC sounds great, but I am looking for a 4 year college.

UNC Asheville offers a Mechatronics joint program with NC State

“What is a certificate program?”

It’s generally a course of study with fewer requirements than that for a degree. Ex.: “I have a BS in mechanical engineering from RIT with a certificate in mechatronics.”

Villanova University also [offers a minor](https://www1.villanova.edu/villanova/engineering/undergrad/minors/mechatronics.html) in Mechatronics.

Another suggestion is to look into the institutional affiliations of authors who publish in the Mechatronics journal or other ones. As I am unfamiliar with the field, I’m not sure how “impactful” this journal is, but it might be worth looking into.
