I’d appreciate your advice on admission to US Medical Schools.

The student, a US citizen, will be graduating with a B.Sc. with Honours in Biology degree from an university in UK next summer (June 2010).

This is a 3 year course with great emphasis on Biology. but, compared to US colleges, have less of other subjects.

How does she proceed to get admission into US Medical Schools?

The college web sites and that of AMCAS is geared fully toward those in US colleges.

We’ve written to AMCAS and only received a standard form reply and a plug for the MSAR book. Spoken to a couple of college admissions office, but they had no idea for anything who is not a US student.

Can she take the MCAT this season (Aug-Sep '09) and apply for admission to Medical School in the Fall of 2010?

Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards.
