I took Math1a (calc1) pass no pass. then i retook it but it’s under a different name 16a and I get no units from the university. but will that grade count in when applying to med schools?
Thanks

No. Your GPA is a weighted average. If the class is given a weight of 0 units, it won’t have any effect on your AMCAS GPA.

Terrible to idea to take a potential med school prereq P/F.

My premed adviser said the same thing.

How about taking a couple of non-prereq’s P/F in 4 years? Is it still a bad idea? Thanks!

well… the class is given worth 3 units… but i get no units for it cause… i took 1a already. so i guess there won’t be a grade. hmm how come i heard they count every grade.

Every grade is counted in the sense that every college-level course you take must to reported to AMCAS, regardless of the course, final grade, or how many credits you received.

hmmm. okie dokie.
