Earlier today I was approached by a guy working for the local newspaper and he wanted my opinion since I was from out of town (but still in the same state). He asked me questions about our states politics in general and I answered honestly. The problem is that the more I think about it now (while “not-on-the-spot”) the more I believe that what I told the reporter is wrong. Is it considered inappropriate to call them and ask if I could speak to him again with my new thoughts? Have any of you been in similar situations?
Thanks in advance!
(P.S.-he told me it will be in Monday’s paper so I still have time to talk to him.)

do you really care all that much, honestly?

yeah, mainly because it was about an important issue.

i think u should. it represents ur thoughts in a sense, and always be honest with urself~~ Cogito, ergo sum.

but then again if its me i will just be too lazy to do it…

I really don’t think it’s that serious, I don’t think people are going to hold you to that opinion in some random conversation, like “oh wait didn’t you say this blah blah blah in the Daily News?”. However if you have free time, then why not?

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate your fair-intentioned comments and you all made very distinct points.
